Anyone that knows me personally knows about my love for the Dallas Mavericks. When Mark Cuban announced he would host a design contest for the next Dallas Mavericks jersey my two biggest passions Mavs and creative design got set on a collision course. The result was something pretty spectacular.
This design was a Top 10 finalist out of thousands of entries from all over the world in the very first crowd-sourced NBA jersey design contest hosted by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban via Crowdspring. The design was picked by a number of news outlets as the best design of the finalists including NBA/Hoops/Fashion magazine Dime Magazine. The contest process narrowed down more than 1,000 entries to just 10 and then to one winner based on fan vote last summer. The Skyline was selected by a fan vote to be the new Dallas Maverick jersey.
